A Planning application has now been submitted to the Rochford District Council iro the Former Shellfish Packing Station in South Fambridge.
Please have your say and object to this application....there are many other more appropriate sites which are empty, on industrial sites and more suited to this car dismantling.repair business.
Now that this application has finally been submitted by the owner we are expecting the Head of Rochford District Council Planning Dept Mr Shaun Scrutton to host a meeting for residents and members of the public to give their views. We willl give details of this in due course.

HAVE YOUR SAY ! - We are being told that part of the premises already has B2 General Industrial use classification but have never been publically consulted regarding this change and this is yet to be clarified. This current application is to change the remainder of the building (The larger part of the building) to B2 classification as well as a variety of other changes. There are still several outstanding breaches of planning control currently on the premises and have been so since November 2011. (installation of Gate, Commencement of hardstanding, Storage of non road worthy vehicles in customer parking area.)
