A special meeting was arranged by Ashingdon Parish Council on the 25th January 2012 for residents of South Fambridge to discuss their concerns regarding the proposed business activities in the Former Shellfish Packing Station (located at the end of the South Fambridge Road, adjacent to the river). A presentation was delivered on behalf of the residents and a 72 page Booklet was presented to each of the Parish Councillors in attendance. (A PDF copy of this booklet is shown belown and provides up to date information...please click on the link below to view.)

As a result of this meeting a decision has been made by the Ashingdon Parish Council (APC). We are delighted to inform you that APC are going to support our Campaign and will commence discussions with the Rochford District Council Planning Department with regard to the circumstances surrounding Planning consents and the issues we have raised. We will keep you advised on progress in due course.
We would like to thank the APC for their time and support and look forward to working with them on this issue.
