(Apologies for the delay ....I have been struggling to up-load some of the Photos...there were some additional photos submitted which do not appear here.)

The Ashingdon Parish Council has very kindly agreed to pay 50% of the Solicitors invoice and so the balance will be collected shortly.

Thank you again for your support and also to all those who added further additional representations in respect of this appeal and especially thank you to Marcus and Emma for arranging the Solicitors involvement and communicating with the village residents.

Re Ashingdon Parish Council Meeting on 15th July 2013

Ashingdon Parish Council invited  representatives of the South Fambridge village to attend a meeting on 15th July 13 to discuss the planning application 13/00370/FUL and the breaches of current planning conditions imposed on this site (former Shellfish Packing Station, South Fambridge).

The Ashingdon Parish Council unanimously elected to continue to support the village and will object to this current application and will address the concerns of the continual breach of current conditions as a separate issue with the council.

They have urged all residents and visitors to South Fambridge to lodge their objections and to continue to provide the Rochford District Council enforcement team with evidence of breaches of current conditions.

The re-classification on this site to B2 general industrial use was discussed and the residents have voiced their intention to proceed with legal action against this decision.  Further information regarding this option and general consultation with village residents and supporters will be addressed in due course.

A special meeting was arranged by Ashingdon Parish Council on the 25th January 2012 for residents of South Fambridge to discuss their concerns regarding the proposed business activities in the Former Shellfish Packing Station (located at the end of the South Fambridge Road, adjacent to the river).  A presentation was delivered on behalf of the residents and a 72 page Booklet was presented to each of the Parish Councillors in attendance.  (A PDF copy of this booklet is shown belown and provides up to date information...please click on the link below to view.)

As a result of this meeting a decision has been made by the Ashingdon Parish Council (APC).  We are delighted to inform you that APC are going to support our Campaign and will commence discussions with the Rochford District Council Planning Department with regard to the circumstances surrounding Planning consents and the issues we have raised.   We will keep you advised on progress in due course.

We would like to thank the APC for their time and support and look forward to working with them on this issue.
