Re Ashingdon Parish Council Meeting on 15th July 2013

Ashingdon Parish Council invited  representatives of the South Fambridge village to attend a meeting on 15th July 13 to discuss the planning application 13/00370/FUL and the breaches of current planning conditions imposed on this site (former Shellfish Packing Station, South Fambridge).

The Ashingdon Parish Council unanimously elected to continue to support the village and will object to this current application and will address the concerns of the continual breach of current conditions as a separate issue with the council.

They have urged all residents and visitors to South Fambridge to lodge their objections and to continue to provide the Rochford District Council enforcement team with evidence of breaches of current conditions.

The re-classification on this site to B2 general industrial use was discussed and the residents have voiced their intention to proceed with legal action against this decision.  Further information regarding this option and general consultation with village residents and supporters will be addressed in due course.
