Some time ago I received a letter from Yvonne Dunn at Rochford District Council via email which I decided not to publish until works have started proper at the Shellfish packing Station in South Fambridge in order that it has full impact and was not forgotton about by the time works started. It appears that now works are now being carried out on the premises and immediately there are breaches under the current planning conditions.
Here is the letter:
RDC letter
It is now over to you....Residents, visitors, dog walkers, fishermen who either live or visit this area.....IT IS YOUR JOB to police this (which is what's inferred in the letter) ....If you SEE, HEAR or SMELL anything that emanates from this site and the works being carried out and you consider it to be inappropriate, dangerous, a nuisance or breaches conditions you should inform Rochford District Council as per their letter.
You should record evidence and where possible be able to date events.
Kelly Holland Clerk to the Ashingdon Parish Council has also asked if she could be cc'd in on any correspondence you send to Rochford District in relation to your concerns or breaches in planning conditions so they are fully aware of the current status and have the full picture.
Thank you.
